To help equip you with the knowledge of what different forms of atheistic and humanistic religions believe, we are pleased to announce the release of World Religions and Cults Volume 3. This volume includes religions and philosophies, such as atheism, agnosticism, scientology, communism, hedonism and post-modernism. (Yes, atheism is a religion! This truth needs to be stated over and over again since secularists have indoctrinated people to believe that atheism is not a religion! They argue this so they can impose the religion of atheism on generations of children in public schools, but claim education is neutral!) Volume 3 will help you to effectively rebut these false worldviews, show non-Christians the truth of the Bible, and point people to Christ.

If you have not yet read the first two volumes of World Religions and Cults, all three volumes are available at a discounted price as a boxed set. Volume 1 highlights counterfeits of Christianity while Volume 2 examines moralistic, mythical, and mysticism religions.

For additional instruction in world religions, I encourage you to make plans to attend the World Religions Conference from July 24–27, 2017. This AiG-hosted conference is being held at the facilities of Florence Baptist Church at Mt. Zion in Northern Kentucky (south of Cincinnati), conveniently located about halfway between our Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter.

Speakers will include AiG’s Dr. Tommy Mitchell, Bodie Hodge (general editor of all three World Religions and Cults books), and me. Guest speakers are Dr. Ron Rhodes, Dr. Mark Bird, Dr. Thane Ury, and Todd Friel.

In this post-modern, relative-morality age we live in, we are bombarded with an “everyone’s-truth-is-valid” and “all-paths-lead-to-God” mentality. But Scripture claims that all religions except biblical Christianity are false. Without Christ, no one can have God the Father (1 John 2:23). Jesus claimed to be the Way—not one of several ways (John 14:6).

Scripture claims that all religions except biblical Christianity are false.

As Christians, we are all tasked with being ready to give an answer (or defense) to everyone who asks us a reason for the hope that is in us (1 Peter 3:15). This requires us to answer people from different religions who may ask us about Christianity. Because we are also commanded to be witnesses for Christ, we must be aware of what people are being taught erroneously about God.

In his sermon on Mars Hill, the Apostle Paul knew what the Athenians believed; he even knew quotes from their beloved poets. He used this knowledge to preach the gospel to them in a way that they could understand and in a way that would make them question their false beliefs.

This unique conference next July will reveal how and why so many religions have become prominent today. It will also show how they differ from Christianity, from what they teach about origins to what they believe about having a relationship with God.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
