The choice of which college to attend can be a daunting one. In our day, many schools—including many Christian colleges—can tear down a student’s faith. Secular schools often openly mock the Bible and Christianity in the classroom and are hostile toward those who stand on the truth of Scripture. As I documented in my coauthored book Already Compromised, many Christian schools do not stand on the authority of God’s Word but teach young people to doubt, rather than trust, what Scripture teaches.
Well, at our College Expo, parents and prospective college students will have a chance to talk with representatives from Christian schools across the country, all of which are listed on our Creation Colleges site. These schools are willing to take a stand on important issues such as the historicity of Genesis, and will build up, rather than tear down, a student’s faith. Of course because we can’t guarantee that every professor at each college on the list takes a stand on Genesis, parents and students must do their due diligence to critically examine as much course material as they can and remain committed to standing on God’s Word without compromise.
You will also get to sit in on special sessions from AiG speakers and researchers Dr. Danny Faulkner, Dr. Tommy Mitchell, and Dr. Georgia Purdom. Both days will feature identical sessions, so even if you are able to attend only one of the two days, you will get the full complement of apologetic teaching. The expo is free, and high school students who attend also get free admission to the Creation Museum next door! Parents and family members who accompany them receive a special discounted museum rate, so be sure to take advantage of this promotion to equip the whole family with solid answers by touring the Creation Museum.
While you’re in the area, also visit our life-size Ark, only 45 minutes from the museum.
