Ark Encounter—An Evangelistic Outreach

It’s been exciting to see tens of thousands of guests each week from around the world “flooding” into the Ark Encounter since our grand opening on July 7, 2016. It’s our prayer that the life-size Ark south of Cincinnati will be so much more than a world-class tourist attraction. We pray God will use it to reach many hearts with the gospel of Jesus Christ and the message of biblical authority.

Well, as many of you probably know, if you follow my blog or Facebook page, Bill Nye, TV’s “the Science Guy,” visited the Ark just two days after we opened. During his visit I had the opportunity, as I did during our February 2014 debate, to clearly present the gospel to him. He has heard the gospel now on more than one occasion. Please pray the Lord will open his heart to the truth—he is without excuse. All who reject God are without excuse since it is evident to all that God created the universe—“for God has shown it to them” (Romans 1:19).

In the following short video clip of Bill Nye and me at the Ark Encounter, Bill explains his religion as he shares his belief that morality is by a consensus of the "tribe"—thus it is subjective. He illustrates the bankruptcy of the religion of secularism by admitting that morality is subjective.

In this video clip, Bill Nye tells a girl inside the Ark that she’s a “wonderful, beautiful animal,” and the girl tells Bill about God. About his beliefs, Bill admits, “I may be wrong.”

Bill Nye is wrong about God. Contrary to what he believes, there is a God who loves the world and who gave His Son that all who put their faith and trust in Him might have new and eternal life. Let’s remember to pray for Bill as I did in the Ark Encounter during his visit.

We will be releasing the full video from Bill Nye’s visit to the Ark Encounter later this year, so be sure to keep an eye on our website and my Facebook page for updates.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
