After an incredible day yesterday at the construction site for the life-size Noah’s Ark (watch the replay of a live stream I recorded from there yesterday), I’m now in Nashville, Tennessee, ready to promote the Ark Encounter. I’m at the National Religious Broadcasters convention, and Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter are taking full advantage of meeting everyone here and getting the news out that Ark Encounter is opening on July 7, 2016. Plus, since most of the attendees and all of the exhibitors are involved in the media in some way, it’s really an important opportunity to be at this convention year after year.
On the exhibit floor we have a 16-foot by 9-foot high-def television screen we’re using to show drone footage of the construction site.
I really believe that when people see the enormity of the structure we’re building, it will really intrigue them, and they’ll want to come see it for themselves.
Also this week I’ll be speaking with several other Christian leaders and, of course, plenty of conference participants about biblical creation, the Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, and Answers in Genesis. I also have the privilege to speak at the closing gala dinner to share the mission and vision of Answers in Genesis and the Ark Encounter, encouraging them to consider the relevance of Genesis in today’s world.
Follow me on Twitter (@aigkenham) and Facebook to see who I get to meet this week (there are heaps of other big-name Christian media organizations and leaders here too) and to see how our team is able to get the word out about the opening of Ark Encounter!
Thanks for stopping by and thank for praying,
Ken
