Answers for Women—A Powerful and Unique Conference

by Ken Ham on January 24, 2016

The annual Answers for Women conference at the Creation Museum has grown significantly as a unique conference packed with solid biblical teaching with a powerful apologetics emphasis.

When you browse your local Christian bookstore for a new Bible study, how do you know if the material you’re picking up is truly biblical? How do you point out the differences between the religions of your neighbors and friends, and true biblical Christianity?

Our culture, and sometimes even the church, is filled with false teaching and dangerous lies. These teachings and lies are usually cleverly camouflaged with emotional arguments and half-truths. Sadly, many Christians are lacking in discernment to see through the deception and to discover what is true and what is false.

Well, this year’s Answers for Women conference, April 15 and 16, 2016, here at the Creation Museum, directly addresses this issue of discernment: how do we engage the culture with wisdom and grace?

In a recent blog post, AiG’s Dr. Georgia Purdom says this about the upcoming conference:

Working for Answers in Genesis over the last 10 years has really opened my eyes to one of the biggest things lacking among Christians today: discernment. At AiG we fight against the compromise that is occurring in many churches on the issue of origins. We find that our biggest opponents are not those outside the church, like the atheists, but rather those inside the church that have decided God’s Word cannot be trusted in Genesis. As we have pointed out over and over again, if part of God’s Word is fallible or errant, then why trust any of the rest of it? If the history in Genesis isn’t true, then why trust that the gospel based in that history is true?

Discern: Answers for Women 2016 features a line-up of encouraging speakers who will challenge you to look at the culture through the lens of God’s Word so that you can go out and impact the world with biblical truth and the gospel.

Speakers include AiG’s own Dr. Georgia Purdom and Roger Patterson, as well as Dr. Corey Abney, Shyla Allard, Mary Mohler (wife of well-known theologian Dr. Albert Mohler), Erin Benziger, and Alicia Wong. In addition to worship times, there will be a dramatic presentation, “Eve: Hope in the Midst of Tears,” by Vickie Gaynier.

When you register for this Bible-affirming conference, you not only get two days of solid teaching, but you also receive a free two-day ticket to the Creation Museum (located next door) for yourself, your husband, and dependent children if they come with you. This makes this conference an ideal trip for the whole family to see the world-class Creation Museum. Or maybe make a ladies’ weekend of it and bring your whole small group (groups of five or more save 10%).

We even have an early-bird price available until February 1, 2016, so reserve your spot today! To register or see a full schedule of events, visit our events page.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
