Tour the Ark Design Studio with Me

Just like you’ll often see behind-the-scenes videos of theme parks like Disney World or Universal Studios, I wanted you to be able to take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Ark Encounter exhibit design studio. In the video below, you can take a walk with me and our VP of Design Attractions (Patrick Marsh) as we go through the design studio, where AiG designers are hard at work fabricating the many exhibits that will go into the 132 exhibit bays inside the life-size Noah’s Ark south of Cincinnati. You will see them designing the various exhibits like Noah’s woodworking shop, the interactive experience on deck one right where you’ll enter the ship, the many animals sculptures for display and . . . well, you’ll have to watch the video to see the rest!

I truly believe that the Ark Encounter, set to open mid- to late summer 2016, will be one of the greatest Christian outreaches of our day. No, it will not be an amusement park like the Disney properties—we will present our guests with serious messages. Visitors will learn that God’s Word can be trusted, right from the very beginning in Genesis, through the account of Noah’s Ark, and through to the Gospels and the good news of Jesus Christ—to the last book of the Bible. Please keep this enormous project in your prayers. I truly believe God will bless it to become a world-renowned attraction!
