Praise the Lord for Godly Mothers

When I read the following verse in the book of 2 Timothy, I think of my own godly mother (who is now 87 years old, living in Australia) and my wife Mally, who is such a godly wife, mother, and grandmother. We read this of Timothy, as the Apostle Paul wrote: “I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, dwells in you as well” (2 Timothy 1:5).

I praise the Lord for godly mothers and their impact on their children and grandchildren and great grandchildren, and we are so thankful to see the spiritual legacy we have passed on to our children, which is now being passed on to their children. Here is a photograph of my wife with one of our 14 grandchildren taken this past week (our 18-month-old granddaughter) and a photo of Mally with our second (of three) daughters and her two daughters (2 of our 14 grandchildren). Their smiles say it all!
