Answers for Women—A Unique Webinar Tuesday

by Ken Ham on October 11, 2010

Join “Answers for Women” speaker and author Dr. Georgia Purdom on Tuesday for a unique webinar and live chat on the topic of Eve. As Dr. Purdom tells me, Eve was the original “bad girl” of the Bible. Her legacy—and Adam’s (“through one man, sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men” Romans 5:12)—was one of sin and despair. The Curse that God pronounced affects our parenting and marriages even today.

Georgia wrote to me that: “Eve, though, has another legacy—one of salvation and hope. Through her seed came Jesus Christ the Redeemer of man. Understanding Eve and how God worked in and through her gives us hope for today. You’ll discover that where sorrow and despair abound, God’s love and mercy abound still more, and lead us to a life marked by hope in the Creator whose Word is true and who keeps His promises.”

The webinar will be about half an hour long, followed by one hour of live chat with Dr. Purdom.

Please join us at one of the following times:

Beautiful Vermont

While we were in Schroon Lake at the World of Life Conference center in New York this past weekend, we took the special recreation time set aside for Saturday afternoon to travel over Lake Champlain to Vermont. Here are a few photographs, including one of Mally and me—and Buddy and Kay Davis of our staff:

Testimonies

Buddy and I have received many testimonies from people at the Word of Life conference. Here are just three:

A father who told me their young child passed away earlier this year. His son loved Answers in Genesis—in fact, the father took his child to the Creation Museum this past December. He said the child’s birthday would have been this past Saturday—so he came to the AiG conference at Word of Life as a special memory of his son.

A pastor told me he wanted to totally change how he and his church staff approached teaching in their church—they hadn’t taught adults/children how to defend their faith. He said he wanted to deal with the issue of so many young people leaving the church when they become adults. He is going to get our Already Gone book and get his entire staff to read it—then discuss how to deal with this exodus of the youth.

One man told me it was because of AiG videos that he came back to the Lord. Now he is on fire for the Lord and wants to learn as much as he can in order to be equipped to defend the faith and proclaim the gospel.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
