The Creation Museum is pleased to be part of an auction that benefits a charity called the “Special Operations Warrior Foundation.” SOWF, according to its website, “provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.” (See http://www.specialops.org/)
Here is what we have contributed to this online charity auction:

The dollar value for the museum membership, signed book, and lunch was determined by the sponsors. A part of the winning bid can be used as a tax deduction—typically, the amount that is deductible is equal to the difference between the stated Fair Market Value and the winning bid.
The bidding stops on the afternoon of July 6.
Some of my blog readers may have seen the SOWF charity mentioned on Fox TV News from time to time.
Yesterday I wrote about some AiG billboards that were put up in the Pittsburgh area—sponsored by a ministry friend. Meanwhile, a billboard has been posted in Oakwood, Georgia (northeast of Atlanta), sponsored by several AiG supporters. This is the second billboard in Oakwood. Here it is (a night shot).
How about sponsoring a billboard in your area—showing that you are not ashamed to stand up for biblical truths in your community? It’s not difficult to arrange—see: http://www.answersingenesis.org/about/iana/involved/sponsor
This Tuesday and Wednesday, I will be speaking at the Christian Home Educators Fellowship Conference and Book Fair in St. Louis, Missouri.
The quarrel of my covenant
(Leviticus 26:25) And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when you are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and you shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
When the lost despise the agreement God offers of salvation, forgiveness of sins, adoption, and eternal life, they start a quarrel with God that ends them in hell.
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
Ken
