Overflow Crowd in Canada

by Ken Ham on April 17, 2010

Yesterday I gave three presentations (three more today) at the Alberta Home Educators Association conference at the convention center in Red Deer, Canada (about half way between Edmonton and Calgary). This is one of the largest such Home School conventions in Canada.

An overflow crowd turned up for my first keynote—some people had to stand at the back as there were not enough chairs. There is no doubt that these Canadians were hungry for this message. Here is a photo that shows part of the auditorium:

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a response at our resource tables even when compared to a large Home School Convention in the USA after a keynote talk. People flocked to our resource tables, and throughout the whole day there were lines of people wanting to obtain curriculum materials, DVDs, books, etc. It was one of the most phenomenal responses I have seen in 30-plus years of ministry. Many told me how the relevance message I gave in regard to the authority of Scripture and how this is being undermined by compromise in the church is so needed across Canada. Here are photos of people at our resource tables—it was like this for the whole day!

I have also included a photograph of a family and the resources they obtained—people could be seen all day walking away from the AiG booth with resources like this:

Praise the Lord for the response. There is no doubt there is great need for this ministry in Canada.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
