Radio Forum—Dr. Lisle vs. Dr. Hugh Ross

by Ken Ham

On what has been called "the most-listened-to Christian radio station in America," Dr. Jason Lisle of AiG will be representing the young earth position while Dr. Hugh Ross of Reasons to Believe will argue the case for an old earth on Wednesday (March 31st) at 5pm Pacific (8pm Eastern) on KKLA radio out of Los Angeles. KKLA talk-show host Frank Pastore, who used to live in our Cincinnati area (he pitched for the Cincinnati Reds about 30 years ago), will be the moderator. Both Dr. Lisle and Dr. Ross are astrophysicists, and it should make for some stimulating conversation.

Implementing the 7 C's

Here is some great feedback from a Christian school (Christian Life Academy, Jackson, Ohio) after teachers and students visited the Creation Museum recently:
I just wanted to get back to you and touch base regarding our recent Creation Museum trip last week. We took all students in our school grades 2-6 as well as several parents and siblings. We brought around 80+ people to the museum- many were first timers. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum outing! The students really enjoyed the planetarium and the petting zoo.

Thank you for helping us set up that trip. We also are so thankful for the museum DVDs. Today in science I was able to use the planetarium DVD for class, which was spectacular. We also purchased the Buddy Davis pack and a school subscription to Answers [magazine].

Attached are some pictures of our 3rd and 4th grade class and their 7 C's timeline that they created.

This was a part of the 7 C's [curriculum] pack that we purchased in January during the teacher workshop. We have implemented the 7 C's into all of our Bible curriculum in the school. It has especially been embraced by … (the teacher in this picture). The students and … [the teacher] created this 7 C's timeline for a community learning fair and open house event that we had two weeks ago. It tracks Biblical history and world history from creation to consummation [book of Revelation]. The students especially enjoyed putting their own birthdays on the timeline. It was interesting to share this with the community when they came into our open house as well.

Devotion

To record and to thank and praise

(1Chronicles 16:4, 8-12)  And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel: Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.  Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works. Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvelous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

We write down what the Lord Jesus Christ has done so that we can use that record to thank and praise Him and tell others what He has done.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,

Ken
