“Ferry” Good DVD

Well—sorry about the pun! AiG’s CCO Mark Looy is known around the office for his “creative” puns! And it was Mark who suggested this heading!

Last week I took the locally well-known Anderson Ferry across the Ohio River—from Northern Kentucky to the Cincinnati side of the river. Our captain, John James, spotted me in my car and held up his copy of our Answers Update newsletter so that I could see he had been reading it.

John also told me that at home, he had just finished watching Dr. Jason Lisle’s new DVD on The Ultimate Proof of Creation and was greatly blessed by it.

Radio Spots and Defending The Faith

The Lord fought for Israel

(Joshua 10:11, 14) And it came to pass, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the going down to Bethhoron, that the LORD cast down great stones from heaven upon them unto Azekah, and they died: they were more which died with hailstones than they whom the children of Israel slew with the sword . . . for the Lord fought for Israel.

We have one preoccupation in life, and it is the person of the Lord Jesus Christ; abiding in Him, He fights our battles and makes us increasingly know we need Him.
