On Friday, the radio team hosted a luncheon inviting seven prominent radio station managers from the tri-state area to the museum. Station relations representative Cheri Dalton coordinated the event, the purpose of which was to not only establish vital relationships with local radio stations, but also gain valuable insights regarding various aspects of event relations and radio programming.
The luncheon began with a talk from Carl Kerby, followed by a tour from our CCO, Mark Looy, and lunch was served by our café. After lunch audio manager Ben Wilt led a discussion regarding different topics of radio.
We accomplished our goal of obtaining useful feedback, and at the same time we felt we created strong relationships that will hopefully be mutually beneficial. We also received several positive comments about the facilities and our ministry as a whole. They were very excited to be a part of what we are doing, and want us to keep them in mind for future events---especially the grand opening.
