AiG receives more awards

Recently, AiG received the National Religious Broadcasters award for Ministry Website of the Year.

Today, the Director of our Video Production Department, Paul Varnum, was informed that AiG has received three "Telly Awards" for video production.

The top award is silver (see attached photograph), and AiG received this award for the Answers Academy video curriculum (this is a phenomenal program for teens and adults---if you don't have a set, you can find out more details and order at: AiG Bookstore---Answers Academy).

AiG received two bronze awards for:

God of Suffering---this was a video produced recently featuring Dr. Tommy Mitchell giving a message after the terrible hurricane. There is also footage from interviews with some of the victims in the hurricane-ravaged area. This unique new DVD was shot on location in the hurricane-ravaged community of Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Documentary footage complements the illustrated presentation of AiG's newest speaker, medical internist Dr. Tommy Mitchell. (Also includes bonus footage about the special relief effort funded by the generosity of AiG donors to bring backpacks filled with school supplies to thousands of public school students "in the love of Jesus Christ.") Dinosaurs, Genesis and The Gospel---This is a very popular 2 DVD set featuring Buddy Davis and me speaking to elementary students---I speak, Buddy sings and we also do other fun things. Kids and parents enjoy this fast-moving program. You can order this DVD set in our bookstore also!

After respectfully answering a skeptic, Answers Department staff member Donna O'Daniel received this message:

I disagree with you totally, but you answered me respectfully, which I admire. It is not very often I challenge a Christian and get such a respectful response, so well done. At least you act with grace, which isn't hypocritical, my greatest criticism of Christianity.

HOMESCHOOLERS VISIT BUDDY DAVIS

Buddy Davis spoke Tuesday morning to the homeschool children from his church, for about an hour on "Dinosaurs and the Bible." They had a luncheon at the church and then went to Buddy's studio to see what dinosaurs he was working on. All of the children (and adults) were very excited about the museum. They can't wait until it is open. They are already planning a field trip.

I had more meetings today plus two interviews. I was interviewed (and photographed) for a monthly business magazine that will be featuring a story about the museum. The reporter spent a few hours at the museum today. I was also interviewed by SRN Christian radio news about the supposed fish/amphibian missing link that was in the news recently.

Well, the grass grew overnight, but I won't have to mow for another couple of days!
