AiG receives "Ministry Website of the Year" award at NRB

An award was given to AiG at the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) conference for Best Ministry Website. Dale Mason (VP of Media & Marketing) and Rod Martin (Director of Internet Outreach) attended the conference this past week and received the award at a ceremony attended by leaders from numerous ministries involved in Christian media, including the president of Focus on the Family.

LIGHT BULB ANALOGY

I spoke at the two services this morning at Englewood Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, to around 1,500 people. One couple came up to me after the second service and said "it was like a light bulb going on" in referring to the material we present.

I've heard this light bulb analogy many times before---people say that the information we present is so illuminating to them.

Altogether this past weekend, Buddy Davis, Dr. Jason Lisle and I spoke to a total of 3,000 different people (adults, teens and children).

I'm looking forward to sleeping in Monday morning---being President's Day, it is a vacation day for AiG. (However not for some staff! Steve and Noah will be driving the AiG truck and trailer back from North Carolina, and Buddy and Kay will fly back to their home---someone must have made a "mistake" to allow me to be actually home for a holiday!).
