Indescribable Gift

Today was my first official day back in the office after my cochlear implant surgery. Those of you who are regular readers know that after a week of recovery, I headed down to Tennessee for the True Woman Conference. It was a great event, and we made a lot of good contacts. I would say approximately 50% of the people who stopped by our booth had never heard of Answers in Genesis or the Creation Museum. I had the pleasure of meeting Kay Arthur, Mary Kassian, and Nancy Leigh DeMoss. They are amazing women of God and have such a heart to see women reclaim biblical womanhood.

My daughter Elizabeth has been talking a lot about heaven lately. On Sunday night she said she was glad her name was written in the “big book of lambs.” She meant the Lamb’s book of life, but at least she had the right idea! Yesterday morning she commented that she couldn’t wait to get to heaven so she could see God. It’s so easy as adults to get bogged down in our everyday worries and cares that we often forget to look forward to the day when all our sorrows and worries will be erased.

Easter should be a reminder to the redeemed for the reason we have to look forward to that day. Jesus Christ paid the price so that one day we could live eternally with Him.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! (2 Corinthians 9:15 NKJV)
