Spending Time With Cousins

Since we’ve been back in the States, our cousins have frequently come down from their homes to visit us. Hanging out with family is the really great part about furloughs. Some of our cousins were very young last time we were here; over the four years we were gone, they changed quite a bit.

On our last furlough, my little cousin Ella Clare couldn’t even walk, but now we can do fun things with her like build puzzles and play with her stuffed animals. Two of my cousins on my dad’s side of the family weren’t even born last furlough, so we got to meet them for the first time just a few months ago.

Spending time with family is one of the best parts about furlough. God has blessed us with great family, and we are very thankful for them.
