We’re Home in the US Again

Approximately every four years, we return to the States for a furlough, or as it has been termed in recent years, “home assignment.” The purpose of the home assignment is to rest, reconnect with family and supporters, and share all that the Lord has done over the previous term. This is an especially important time at home for us as Morgan is looking at colleges and will be starting college before we head back to Asia Pacific.

We have gotten over jet lag and are starting to settle into a daily schedule. We are a homeschooling family and love the flexibility this offers during times of transition. Even though we are settling in, we are also thinking to the future. This fall we will begin traveling, catching up with supporters, and sharing the amazing story of what the Lord has done among a distant tribe living deep in one of the remotest corners of the globe! We are also looking to expand our support base and want to share the challenges and needs as we project to return to the tribe early next year to help the church move towards maturity and see the New Testament translation completed.
