Free Christmas Sunday school lessons for six age levels, Pre-K through Adult! Download includes teacher guide along with posters, games, seasonal activities, activity sheets, and more! ESV set 1 lessons also available.
Whether you’re currently using Answers Bible Curriculum (ABC) or just looking for a seasonal lesson, our Christmas lessons will help students focus on the real meaning of Christmas—Jesus. Students will see from the Bible how God promised to send a Savior, how God prepared for Jesus’ birth, and how Jesus’ coming brings joy.
Use our Christmas lessons to help your students focus on the real meaning of Christmas—Jesus’ birth! Lessons 1A–1C are designed to be taught consecutively but work well as standalone lessons, too. Lessons 2A and 2B are standalone topical lessons designed to teach often-misunderstood truths about Jesus and the account of his birth.
Free Christmas lessons are available in six age groups: Pre-K–1st, Grades 2–3, Grades 4–5, Middle School, High School, and Adult. They include downloads of the following components:
Lesson 2A: Jesus Before the Manger
Key Passages: Genesis 1; Exodus 3; Judges 6; Matthew 1; John 14; Colossians 1:16–17
Students discover that Jesus is eternal. He was present at creation and appeared to people throughout the Old Testament. But he left heaven and was born as a baby to fulfill God’s promise to send a Savior.
Lesson 2B: Honoring Christ in Christmas
Key Passages: Luke 1; Matthew 1–2
Students see how many things can distract us from the real purpose of Christmas—to celebrate Christ coming to earth to save us from sin.
Answers Bible Curriculum 2nd Edition has been expanded and updated from the 1st Edition with even more amazing lessons from both the Old and New Testaments! The entire curriculum is now 200 faith-building lessons designed to take students on a chronological journey through the Bible in four years. Lessons are grouped into units of 10 lessons each so you have the flexibility to start or pause whenever you want.
