A Christmas Star for Your Tree
The Christmas star has become a well-recognized symbol, adorning the tops of trees around the world. But despite its prominence, many won’t pause this Christmas season to consider the star’s miraculous appearance that led the magi to Jesus.
The Gospel of Matthew tells us that after Jesus was born in Bethlehem, magi arrived in Jerusalem asking about him. They had followed the star that had appeared to them and were seeking the new Messiah to worship him. Matthew 2:10 states that when the magi again saw the star as it rested over the house where Jesus was, “they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.”
To remind you of the miraculous appearance of the star that led the magi to Jesus, we are now offering a collectible Christmas star ornament, inscribed with Matthew 2:10.
This beautiful metal ornament comes in two versions, making it the perfect keepsake to remember the first Christmas star as well as your experience at ChristmasTime at the Ark Encounter or ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum.
As you hang your star on the tree this Christmas season, we hope you “rejoice exceedingly with great joy” over the birth of our Messiah.
