Subscribers to satellite television network DIRECTV will soon have the opportunity to watch faith-building programming developed by Answers in Genesis on the new Answers Creation Hour, set to premiere Tuesday, February 19.
Part of the new spring lineup for the NRB (National Religious Broadcasters) Network (channel 378), Answers Creation Hour will air every Tuesday evening from 9 to 10 PM (EST) as part of the NRB Network’s Nature/Science Night. AiG is thrilled at the possibility to reach more than 16 million U.S. households, plus more than 4 million Latin American homes, every week.
In response to viewer requests, NRB approached AiG last fall about such a program. After back-and-forth discussions for several weeks, AiG’s vice president of media and marketing, Dale Mason, presented the opportunity to AiG’s communications committee, which strongly endorsed the idea.
“We are excited to be partnering with Answers in Genesis,” emphasized Troy Miller, senior vice president and CCO of the NRB Network. “The Answers Creation Hour is a nice addition to our Tuesday Nature/Science Night on the NRB Network. AiG has a number of quality programs to offer. Viewers will be fascinated and intrigued while watching these well-researched and well-produced programs.”
DIRECTV, the U.S.’s largest and fastest-growing digital multi-channel satellite TV service provider, offers the NRB Network in their base package (“Total Choice”), so Answers Creation Hour will be available to all DIRECTV subscribers.
Pray for this new program as it shares the truth of the Bible, beginning with Genesis! It is our hope that millions will view the creation/gospel message this year!
