Get ready for an awe-inspiring ride through the universe!

As guests first enter the Creation Museum, an outreach of Answers in Genesis, they will be almost immediately drawn to the Stargazers Room. This unique and exciting planetarium will amaze visitors as they learn how the universe began. Visitors will see that observational astronomy supports the Bible’s history of the universe.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art Digistar 3 SP 2 digital projection system and surround-sound audio, the planetarium’s special effects will launch visitors on a virtual tour of the universe through three-dimensional space.

“The Created Solar System” will take guests from the earth to the moon, the other planets, and the sun. This automated presentation will also feature narration and music that describe how the heavens declare the glory of God. Other programs will include visits to nearby stars, far away galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters, plus a visual lesson on problems with the big bang and an evangelistic Christmas program featuring the Star of Bethlehem. The planetarium also has the capability to exhibit non-astronomy programs, such as traveling through a living cell to view God’s remarkable design at the microscopic level.

Program development is under the direction of astrophysicist Dr. Jason Lisle, who has a passion to teach people that the Bible is completely accurate, even when it touches on astronomy. His programs will inspire and equip Christians to better explain astronomy from a biblical standpoint.

The Stargazers Room is sure to be among the Creation Museum’s most popular features. It will powerfully proclaim through stunning presentations that the heavens do indeed declare the glory of God.

Stargazers Planetarium

The Stargazers Room is a 78-seat planetarium at the Creation Museum. Equipped with a state-of-the-art digital projection system, reclining seats and foldout notepad tables, the planetarium can be used for prerecorded shows, as well as live presentations.

Stargazers Planetarium

In the first feature presentation, guests will experience what it is like to leave the earth and travel to the moon. They will orbit around the moon and also land on its surface. Guests will actually be able to look up into the night sky and see the earth suspended over the western lunar horizon.

The first planetarium show will move through the solar system. Each of the planets of the solar systems shows God’s power and majesty. Visitors will get to experience what it is like to see Jupiter and its moons up close. Later, the audience will experience a virtual journey through the rings of Saturn.

Christmas Star

Many additional presentations are also in the planning stages—including a special Christmas program on the star of Bethlehem.

The Creation Museum and AiG headquarters are located on I-275 only 2 exits from the Cincinnati International Airport. Open 2007!
