Many skeptics claim that four men and four women could never have built such a massive structure as Noah’s ark. This popular idea actually comes from a misunderstanding of the biblical text.
Genesis tells us that only eight people were saved from the flood on board the ark, but nowhere does it tell us how many people helped to build it. It’s quite likely that Noah hired others to help with the construction. Even today many unbelievers are willing to work for believers. This would not only have helped get the Ark built but would also have given Noah a chance to urge unbelievers to repent from their sin.
