This week we’re looking at Jesus’ return—when he’ll come back as the victorious King. But why does Jesus need to come again?
Well, the world we live in is not the world God originally created. It’s groaning with death and suffering, because of our sin.
But the Bible reveals that one day Jesus will create a new heavens and a new earth. In this new creation, there won’t be any death, suffering, pain, or crying. All the consequences of man’s sin will be done away with, and those who have trusted Christ will live with him for eternity.
Yes, creation groans now. But when Jesus returns, he’ll put everything right again. And what a day that will be!
