Yesterday we learned that God created us male and female. And that Genesis teaches the foundation for marriage.
You see, marriage isn’t whatever we want it to be. We don’t get to decide. And neither, by the way, does the US Supreme Court, the president, or anyone else!
God defines marriage because he created it! And he designed it to be between one man and one woman for life. That’s what we see in Genesis and what’s affirmed throughout the Bible. For example, when Jesus was asked about divorce, he answered by defining marriage by quoting from Genesis.
Yes, our Creator defines marriage, and his design of one man and one woman for life is good!
