I’ve often said that the Bible’s not a science textbook. But, when it does touch on science, it’s always right. That’s because God’s Word is true from the very first verse!
Consider Isaiah chapter40 and verse 22, which implies a round earth. It says God sits above the “circle of the earth.” And we now know that, from space, the earth always appears as a circle, since it’s round. This matches perfectly with the Bible.
How could Isaiah have known the earth appears as a circle from space? Well, he couldn’t! But God knew because it’s God who both formed the earth and inspired Isaiah’s words!
Yes, we can trust God’s Word in every area!
