Today we’re wrapping up a series on what the Bible says about discerning false teaching. Well, here’s the final thing to watch for: the Bible warns us that false teachers “won’t endure sound teaching.”

It’s not that false teachers just downplay sound doctrine—they won’t even endure it! They can’t stand what the Bible says about who God is: what sin is, what it says about repentance, judgment, and salvation. Instead, they invent their own God who likes what they like, hates what they hate.

And, as I’ve said before, the only way we can recognize those who won’t endure sound teaching is by knowing God and his Word!
