Yesterday we learned there’s good reason to believe today’s climate change is just part of normal variations in earth’s climate. So, why’s there so much hysteria?
Well, it’s a difference of worldviews. From the evolutionary view, environments and their species have remained relatively the same for millions of years—so any change is cause for concern.
But in the biblical worldview, the global flood caused massive climate change, and earth has been settling down since then. Also, today’s environments and species are only a few thousand years old.
We also believe our climate was designed by the God who’s promised the seasons will endure.
