This week we’ve seen that Jesus is the perfect sacrifice for our sins. With his death on the cross, he paid the price that our “sin-debt” demands. He broke the power of sin and Satan, and Jesus fully satisfied God’s wrath against our sin. But it gets even better!
Jesus didn’t stay dead! He rose victorious over death, defeating its power and proving he really is who he said he was: God in flesh. Now Jesus offers forgiveness, new life, and an eternal home in heaven to all who will turn from sin and trust in him alone for salvation.
He’s now reigning in heaven, interceding for his us. And someday he’ll return to take his church home to him.
