God’s Word Is Trustworthy

The Bible mentions a group of people called the Moabites, descended from Abraham’s nephew Lot. But did these people actually exist?

Yes, they definitely did! The Bible records their existence—and the Bible’s always true! So, we shouldn’t be surprised when archaeologists discovered inscriptions from Moabite kings—including one that even mentions—by name—a king of Israel who’s recorded in the Bible! It also records other places from the Old Testament.

Such findings in archaeology should remind us that God’s Word can be trusted. It’s a book of history. Its people really did live! And the places it mentions really did exist!
