This week we’re looking at the worldview held by the majority of Americans. In general, this worldview is a customized one made up of a little of this and a little of that. It’s “syncretism.”

And sadly, this isn’t unique to those outside the church.

Many professing Christians take elements of man’s pagan religion of our age—like evolution and millions of years—and mesh it with Scripture. And then we wonder why so few Christians have a biblical worldview!

But God hates syncretism. He punished the Israelites for mixing the worship of the true God with pagan rituals. He wants us to believe his Word—all of it—and start our thinking with truth.
