This is Ken Ham, CEO of Answers in Genesis, Ark Encounter, and the Creation Museum.
Most people think their bones don’t change. But bones adapt throughout your life. Bone-maker cells supply new building material, and bone breaker cells destroy old material. In healthy adults, this happens in perfect harmony. There’s just the right amount of new bone forming and just the right amount of old bone being removed.
The bone-maker cells create a matrix of bone material, including collagen. This attracts minerals to form hard bone. When it’s time for a repair, the bone breakers secrete an acid to break down the minerals as well as enzymes to dissolve the collagen.
It’s a complex system that points to the One who designed it all: our Creator God.
