This is Ken Ham, and it’s a winter wonderland here at ChristmasTown at the Creation Museum.
As we get closer to Christmas, we’re looking at the theology of popular Christmas carols. Today’s is “Go Tell It on the Mountain.” This carol is a joyous celebration of the good news that Jesus Christ is born. And it’s an encouragement to share that news with everyone. Indeed, it’s a reminder to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
But it’s not enough for us just to proclaim that Jesus is born—most people don’t even know why that’s good news!
One line says “God sent us salvation”—that’s the key. Jesus came to provide salvation. And that means we need to tell everyone, everywhere the bad news of their sin but the good news of the Savior.
