How did God create? Some Christians believe God took millions of years to fashion the universe, the earth, and life itself. But what does the Bible say?
Well, there’s not a hint of millions of years in God’s Word! Genesis chapter one details God creating by the power of his word—in just six days. And the word used for “day” always means a normal day when used in that context.
Also, in Exodus, God repeats that in six days, he made everything. In addition, Jesus said humans were made at the beginning of creation, not millions of years after the beginning.
Millions of years doesn’t come from the Bible—it’s adding to God’s Word.
