You know, some popular Bible teachers claim that following Christ means you’ll be healthy and wealthy—able to live your best life now. But that’s not what God’s Word teaches.
The Bible says we live in a broken world and will face many troubles but that we should be filled with thanksgiving because God has solved our biggest problem: the sin that separates us from a holy God.
But God didn’t leave us separated from him. Jesus Christ took our place, dying for our sin, and now offers forgiveness and eternal life to all who will believe.
Now that’s something we can be thankful for, no matter what. So happy Thanksgiving!
