In places such as Grand Canyon, we observe thousands of feet of rock and they’re bent and folded, but without fracturing. Now, how can this happen?

Well, if the layers are laid down over millions of years, each layer would be rock hard. And rocks don’t bend—they break. But if the layers were put down quickly, one right after the other, the layers would still be soft, like wet cement. They could easily be bent without breaking.

So, rocks don’t show evidence of millions of years of slow and gradual processes. Instead, they’re a testimony of the global flood of Noah’s day. It rapidly laid down the rock layers around the world.
