This week we’ve seen that the Bible does not allow for the idea that God used evolution over millions of years to create. It just doesn’t match what Genesis teaches. And it also contradicts Jesus’ teaching!
Whenever Jesus referred to people or events from Genesis, he always treated them as real history. And when Jesus was asked about marriage, he said, “from the beginning of creation God created them male and female.” Jesus didn’t believe people arrived billions of years after the beginning. He taught they were there from the beginning. That means the earth can’t be millions of years old, and God didn’t use evolution.
Well, Jesus would know—he's the Creator God!
