Science—Where’d It Come from?

This week we’re going to be answering the question “what is science”? But first we should know where science even came from!

If you study the history of the scientific disciplines, you’ll eventually find a “father of” that particular field. And it’s likely it was a creationist!

You see, most of the pioneers of the various sciences were Christians. And they believed God’s Word or, at the very least, theists who believed in a Creator God. They reasoned that God created an orderly universe so we can study and learn about how it works. Many pioneers wanted to bring him glory through their study of creation.

While much of science today is atheistic . . . it didn’t used to be that way!
