Many Christians are shocked by how quickly our culture has embraced all forms of homosexuality and transgender behavior. But we shouldn’t be surprised.

You see, by and large, our culture has replaced God’s Word with man’s word. Instead of thinking by starting with the Bible, our culture is doing whatever is “right in its own eyes.”

This should impact how we reach those in the LGBT community. You see, there’s a difference of foundation: they’re starting with man’s word, but we must start with God’s Word. Since God is our Creator, he alone has the right to tell us what to do. And he has given us a firm foundation for morality, marriage, and gender in his Word.
