Many people have gone on expeditions to hunt for Noah’s ark. Most explorers search on Mount Ararat in modern-day Turkey. But is this the right place to look?

Well, Genesis says the ark landed “on the mountains of Ararat,” which is a wide area, not specifically on what we call Mount Ararat today. Now, underneath Mount Ararat are thousands of feet of sediment laid down during Noah’s flood.
