Saturn’s famous for its thousands of rings. They’re more spectacular than those of any known planet. These rings are made of ice, dust, and rocks. Some are the size of a sand grain. Others are as big as a building! Yet the rings are very intricate—some are even braided!

Many astronomers think these rings formed billions of years ago and from the debris of a crashed asteroid. But the rings are way too intricate for that origins story. So, the story changed maybe Saturn’s tidal forces tore apart one of its satellites? But: all four outer planets have rings. Could this have happened four times? Not likely.

They were handmade by God.
