This is Ken Ham, and our popular life-size Noah’s Ark is located in Northern Kentucky.
All this week we’re looking at what you should do when you’re faced with challenges to God’s Word. Well, one thing to do is check the logic of the argument for faulty reasoning or bad arguments.
For example, is it a “straw man” argument? These arguments twist an opposing viewpoint to make it seem weaker than it is.
Is it a circular argument? These presuppose the truth of the conclusions they’re trying to prove.
Or what about faulty analogies? This argument says two things are alike when there’s an important difference between them.
Sometimes poor logic confuses or convinces people, but it’s actually a bad argument. So Christian: watch out for those!
