Genesis—Is It Actual History?

Apologist William Lane Craig is famous for powerfully defending the resurrection of Christ. But sadly, he views Genesis as “mytho-history.” But that’s not how Jesus viewed Genesis.

Jesus quoted from Genesis, treating Adam and Eve as historical people and their marriage as the first marriage. He treated Abel and Noah as historical people. He referred to the global flood as a real event.

So yes, Jesus clearly believed Genesis was real history—it actually happened. And as the Creator, he ought to know!

Now, I’m not attacking any one person—but I do hold what anyone says up to Scripture. And the truth is obvious. Genesis—it’s history!
