This week we’re celebrating at the Ark Encounter. Wednesday is the five-year anniversary of the opening of our life-size Noah’s Ark! So we’re going to talk this week about how the flood was a real event.

Earlier this year, Pope Francis claimed the flood was a mythical event or just a local flood. But that doesn’t match with what Scripture teaches!

The Bible teaches every high hill, under the whole heaven, was covered with water. And that every living creature not on the ark died in the flood. That’s only possible if the flood was global.

Scripture is clear: the flood really happened, and it was a global, earth-covering event.
