Remembering on Memorial Day

Today is Memorial Day here in the United States and as we celebrate this national holiday, we remember those in the military who’ve died in service.

You know, it’s easy to get distracted on a long holiday weekend. But let’s not forget the sacrifice of so many who have served. Their sacrifice preserved the freedoms we enjoy today. Sadly, we’re increasingly seeing these freedoms come under attack, especially our religious liberties. We need to boldly fight to preserve them.

As we remember those brave service members, let us also remember Jesus Christ. He’s the One who died to save us from our sin and he’s made the way of salvation, and I urge you to believe and repent today.
