On this day forty-seven years ago, abortion was legalized in America. It was decided women could have their unborn babies murdered. And since then, over sixty million unborn children have lost their lives.
Many of those who chose abortion realize they’ve killed a baby. And they live with guilt, shame, and regret. But, on this tragic anniversary, I want to tell them of the One who offers forgiveness for their sin.
The Bible says if we confess our sins, God will forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When we trust in Christ for salvation, God remembers our sin no more.
Abortion is a grave sin—but there’s hope and forgiveness in Christ!
