Many Christians believe abortion is wrong and that unborn babies have a right to life . . . most of the time. You see, many of these people will carve out exceptions for certain circumstances, such as cases of rape or incest.

Now, such circumstances are indeed horrible—the result of wicked and horrifying sin. But who should be punished . . . the rapist or the unborn child?

To say that abortion is okay in the case of rape or incest is to argue that an innocent child should bear the punishment for his or her father’s sin. But it isn’t the child that should be punished—it’s the rapist!

Regardless of circumstances, every unborn child is precious and made in God’s image.
