I’ve been to visit the Grand Canyon several times and have always marveled at its beauty. But it’s really a monument to a catastrophe . . . the global flood.

You see, all those layers you’ll see there were laid down during the flood. But what formed the canyon itself?

Well, as the floodwaters retreated at the end of the flood, massive lakes were left behind. Several huge lakes were formed north of the Grand Canyon. Well, eventually, the waters breached these lakes, and massive local floods cut through the rock.

So, a lot of water . . . over a little bit of time . . . carved the Grand Canyon. It’s a reminder that the Bible’s history is true! There really was a global flood.
