Today we finish learning the 7 C’s of History. We’ve looked at the first four: the biological, geological, anthropological, and cosmological history of the universe.

Well, the last three C’s are grounded in that history.

The fifth C is “Christ.” Jesus Christ—fully God, fully man—came and did what we can’t do: he obeyed God perfectly.

The sixth C is “cross.” Jesus then died on the cross in our place, taking our penalty of death on himself. Then he arose, conquering sin and death. He offers eternal life to those who trust in him.

And the final C is “consummation.” Someday, Jesus will establish the new heavens and new earth . . . with no more death.
