This is Ken Ham, author, speaker, and blogger on science . . . and the Bible’s reliability.
Many Christians are now claiming that Adam and Eve . . . well . . . weren’t real people. Instead, they’ll argue we evolved from an ape-like ancestor … and that Adam and Eve were just representative types.
But that’s not how the Bible treats them. The book of Romans says it’s because of one man’s sin that we all die. If Adam wasn’t the first man, why did others in his “population” die when they didn’t sin in Adam?
First Corinthians says it’s because the first Adam brought death that we need the last Adam: Jesus.
Now, think about it—if Adam didn’t really bring death into creation, why did Jesus even need to come and die a physical death on the cross?
